What Credit Book stores
Credit Book saves the customers and entries you add (names, phone numbers, addresses, amounts, dates, notes and item lists) and your shop settings on your phone.
Login and cloud backup
If you log in with email or Google, a copy of your ledger is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Mumbai region) under your account so you can restore it on another phone. We store your email address and display name for the login. Security rules allow only your own account to read or write your backup. If you do not log in, your data never leaves your phone.
What we do not do
- No ads and no advertising ID.
- We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
- We do not contact your customers. WhatsApp and SMS reminders open the app on your phone and you send them yourself.
Permissions
The app uses internet access for login and backup. Files you export (CSV, statements, backups) are shared through the Android share sheet only when you ask for it.
Deleting your account and data
In the app, open Settings → Delete account and cloud backup. This permanently deletes your login and your cloud backup. The ledger on your phone stays until you remove it with Settings → Delete all data or uninstall the app.
Deleting the account removes everything stored in the cloud for it; nothing is kept after deletion.
